Clinton Campaign Drowning in Proposed Committees
For nearly every problem our nation faces, her answer is a committee. For instance, Hillary Clinton’s idea to deal with drought is a “water summit”. A summit, of course, means one of two things: Either the highest point, or a meeting. Let us give Senator Clinton the benefit of the doubt, and presume she does not hope to end drought by having a tsunami (which features a very high point of water indeed) land on the sufferers. Let us suppose she meant a meeting. That still leaves me to point out that the idea of meeting on water is functionally unsound. Even supposing you can gather a group together in the water, note-taking would be virtually impossible, as paper would be useless, and electronic devices dangerous to bring, and it would dampen a meeting considerably if some of the participants drowned. It’s ideas like this that have plagued her campaign.
