Indecent Proponent
A second outrage has joined the first on the part of prostitute-friendly Senator David Vitter. It’s that, at least for now, he has quit doing his job. Since we discovered his political career is the stuff of the Penthouse letters column, he has not appeared in public, and not appeared on the Senate floor, or in closed chambers. He hasn’t been seen anywhere where he might be expected to be, to, you know, serve his constituents, the people of the state of Louisiana .
Maybe it can be explained by his apparent legal jeopardy: In admitting to his “sin”, he has also admitted to soliciting a prostitute, which is still a crime. Between his confession and the phone number in the Washington madam’s little black book...and, no doubt, the madam’s testimony if needed, DC attorneys have enough to secure a conviction against the pious Senator.
David Vitter: He’s a bad husband, a bad social conservative, and he built his political career on a string of lies...but at least he’s not doing his job.
As slogans go, that one may need a little work.
