Sons are Crazy, Romney Says

Asked about his sons' lack of military service yesterday on the campaign trail in Iowa , former governor Romney said his sons show their patriotism in other ways.

"One of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping me get elected because they think I'd be a great president," Romney said.

Four of Mitt Romney’s five sons are in active service in the Mitt Romney campaign.  The fifth son, in med school, is clearly a traitor.  It makes me sad to think of all those troops in Afghanistan and Iraq , facing enemy fire while sweltering in 140 degree heat, when they could make more of a contribution campaigning for Mitt Romney?  At first I thought that was what the former governor of Massachusetts was suggesting.  But then I realized, that wasn’t it at all.

The four sons can’t fight in Iraq, because, you see, they think that helping Romney get elected shows support for our nation.  That's right, they can't go to war because they're mentally unfit for service.  The fifth son, the one who'd rather go to medical school than fight to defend the democracy in Iraq that's taking a month-long vacation, well…I’d still have to go with him being a traitor.
