The biggest surprise today is that Bush handed over power to Dick Cheney today, as the President underwent a colonoscopy...and Bush didn't suffer a misfortune on the operating table, and then Cheney actually gave power back. In another surprise, Cheney didn't give Scooter Libby a full pardon.
And Cheney didn't order the assassination of the Washington press corps.
Okay, that last one was a long shot. But the other two seemed possible.
